Repairs
Most phone repairs — including screen replacements, battery swaps, and charging port fixes — are completed same day, often within 1–3 hours. Laptop repairs typically take 1–2 days depending on the fault and part availability. We'll always give you a realistic timeframe before we start so you're never left waiting without knowing when to expect your device back.
Yes — always. We only use quality-tested genuine or OEM-equivalent parts on every repair. Using cheap parts might be less expensive short-term, but they fail faster and can damage your device further. We never compromise on parts quality. If a genuine part is not available, we will tell you honestly before proceeding.
This is extremely rare at urladyEngineer because of our careful diagnostic and repair process, but if we ever cause additional damage we take full responsibility. We will fix the damage at no extra cost to you. Your device's safety is our responsibility from the moment you hand it to us until you collect it.
Yes. All our repairs come with a 30-day post-repair support guarantee. If the same fault recurs within 30 days of your repair under normal use, we will fix it again at no charge. This guarantee does not cover new damage caused by drops, water, or misuse after the repair.
We repair all major smartphone brands including iPhone (all models), Samsung, Tecno, Infinix, Xiaomi, Oppo, and more. For laptops, we service HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, MacBook, and most other brands. If you're unsure whether we can handle your specific model, ask us on WhatsApp and we'll let you know immediately.
Privacy & Safety
Completely. We never access, copy, or share your personal data. Our technicians only access the parts of your device that are necessary for the repair. We will never ask for your passwords unless it is absolutely required to test a specific function (e.g., testing touch screen response after a screen replacement), and even then we recommend you change it afterwards as standard practice.
We strongly recommend you back up your device before bringing it in — especially for repairs that may involve software work. While most hardware repairs do not affect your data, it is always good practice. If you need help with backup before your repair, let us know and we can guide you through it over WhatsApp before you bring the device in.
Your device is handled exclusively by our trained in-house technician at our workshop at 2, Agri Cola Street, UI Second Gate, Ibadan. We do not outsource repairs to third parties. You can collect your device in person or we can arrange a secure return.
Devices left overnight are secured safely at our workshop. We will give you a collection receipt for all devices left with us, and we'll update you via WhatsApp on the repair progress. You'll always know the status of your device — we never leave you in the dark.
Pricing
Repair costs vary depending on the device model, fault type, and parts required. Rather than publish a fixed price list that may not reflect your specific situation, we provide a personalised upfront quote after a quick assessment. Send us a WhatsApp message with your device model and fault description and we'll give you a fair, honest quote quickly.
Never. We quote upfront and we stick to that quote. The price you agree to before we start is the price you pay. If we discover additional faults during the repair, we will always contact you to explain and get your approval before doing any extra work. You will never be surprised by an unexpected bill.
If we cannot fix your device, you don't pay. Simple as that. We will explain exactly what the fault is, what we tried, and give you our honest recommendation on next steps — whether that's a specialist board-level repair, insurance claim, or replacement. We'd rather be honest than charge you for work that didn't succeed.
We accept cash and bank transfer (all major Nigerian banks). Payment is made on collection of your repaired device. We do not require any deposit upfront for standard repairs — you only pay when you're satisfied and ready to collect your device.

Yes, we offer delivery within Ibadan. Delivery availability, timing, and fees depend on your location — contact us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the details for your specific address. You can also collect in person from our workshop at 2, Agri Cola Street, UI Second Gate, Ibadan during business hours (Mon–Sat, 9am–7pm).
Every accessory we stock is quality-checked before it reaches you. We carry budget, mid-range, and premium options, but all are held to the same quality standard regardless of price point. We won't stock anything we wouldn't confidently recommend to a family member. If you have questions about a specific product's quality or origin, just ask us.
Our catalogue shows a selection of what we typically stock, but we can source many other accessories on request. If you're looking for something specific — a particular phone case, a specific cable type, or a niche gadget — message us on WhatsApp and we'll let you know if we can get it for you.
